The Architecture MasterPrize – Architectural Product Design Awards, 2022 (Furnishing Award)
Designed by architect Shahrooz Zomorrodi and handmade by DecoZ Studio, the unusual and inviting ‘Flow’ rocking pouf has won the Architecture MasterPrize – Architectural Product Design Awards 2022, in the Furnishing category.
The Architectural Product Design Awards was recently introduced by the organizers of the prestigious Architecture MasterPrize (AMP) as they believe that excellence in architecture is impossible without the products and materials that meet contemporary construction demands.
Zomorrodi, the founder of Zomorrodi & Associates and Creative Director of DecoZ Studio, was inspired when creating ‘Flow’ by the constant ocean waves that deliver calm to the human soul. Its shape and curves are designed to recreate the feeling of a raft floating on flowing water, leaving the user with the sense that they are resting on a vast and peaceful wave. The result is a peaceful adventure, unlike any other experience. Entirely handmade in wood and leather, ’Flow’ expresses the perfect balance between innovation, function, and emotion in a unique way.
The highly respected Architecture Master Prize (AMP) was created by the Farmani Group as the sister initiative of the IDA International Design Awards, which has been recognizing smart and sustainable multidisciplinary design since 2007.
